How to Fill a balloon with Helium Gas

Before filling the balloons, please make sure you have the following

• Helium Cylinder
  
• Nozzle
  
• Balloons
  
• Helium Valve (Advisable but balloons can be inflated without a valve)

STEP 1: Insert the Helium valve into the balloon.

Pull the lip of the balloon over the disc at the end of the helium valve making sure the disc is covered.

Step 2: Attach the nozzle that is supplied with the Cylinder.

STEP 3: Open the green colour Tap half way through in antclockwise direction.

STEP 4: Connect the Black End of the Nozzle to the Helium Valve.

WHEN USING HELI-VALVES PLEASE HOLD NOZZLE AND VALVE FIRMLY TO AVOID ANY LOSS OF HELIUM

STEP 5: Press the Black Nozzle down, so the helium fills the balloon.

Make sure the balloon is of the correct size by using a sizer or place two chairs apart.

When the balloon touches the two sides of the sizer or chairs, it is of the Correct size.

STEP 6: Tie the other end of the ribbon to a balloon weight. You now have a filled Helium Balloon

STEP 7: Close the Green tap on the cylinder. If you have helium left you can use it later, or if it is empty, you can throw it in the recycle bin!
