Halloween lights set the mood once it's dark, from purple and orange fairy lights to flickering LED candles, glowing pumpkins and light-up window silhouettes. String them along a mantel or a window and they do half the decorating on their own, alongside your outdoor decorations, a bunch of balloons and the rest of the Halloween party supplies. Battery sets are easiest for spots away from a plug, like a porch or a mantelpiece.
