Party tableware for a table of eight or a hall of two hundred, all in one order. Our range covers the essentials every party runs on: party plates, cups, napkins, cutlery and tablecovers, in plain colours or matched to a theme.
Pour the drinks into our party glasses and drinkware, protect long tables with a banqueting roll, and pull a cracker at the meal. Lay out the food with catering serveware, tie your shade together with a colour theme, and finish the cake table with cake decorations and party candles. We have packed more than 3 million orders since 2005, so the table is in safe hands.
Laying the table? Our party tableware guide helps you coordinate colours, work out quantities and fold napkins.
Show moreGetting the numbers right is half the job. After more than 3 million orders, here's how we'd plan the tableware for a party.
How many plates and cups per guest? As a rule of thumb, allow two plates per guest for a buffet, one large for the main and one small for cake or pudding. Count on two to three cups a head, since people put one down and lose it, and one or two napkins each. Buying for a set table of eight is easy; for a hall of a hundred, round up and keep a spare pack back. Feeding a real crowd? Our bulk catering supplies work out cheaper by the pack.
Plain or themed? Themed plates and cups tie the table to a birthday character or an occasion, and they photograph well. Plain colours cost less, mix and match, and let a cake or centrepiece take the eye. Plenty of parties do both: themed for the kids' table, plain for the adults'.
Cover the table first. A tablecloth protects the surface and sets the colour, while a banqueting roll covers long trestle tables in one go and tears to length. Lay the food out on platters so guests can help themselves.
Do not forget the cake. Match your candles to the age or the theme, add a fountain candle for a showstopper, and finish with a topper from our cake decorations.
